Foo Fighters Tribute - The Four Fighters + The False Gods

The Worlds No1 Foo Fighters Tribute

This band was formed in 2003 by Foo Fighters Fans for Foo Fighters fans! Four vastly experienced musicians came together for this project with a passion to recreate the sound of the now legendary Dave Grohl - fronted, American supergroup.
Four Fighters can be found playing the most prestigious venues the length and breadth of the UK. Add to that regular multiple appearances at all of the biggest tribute festivals in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe and you could argue that this is the world's ultimate Foo Fighters tribute band!

Four Fighters live shows are explosive events and the band go to every effort to reproduce the raw power and dynamics of the original band.

All of the Foo Fighters studio albums, from their eponymous debut to the much acclaimed Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace and the 2011 release Wasting Light are represented and given the live treatment by this band. They perform the songs with an energy and passion that only true fans could and perform them in the same way you would see and hear them at a Foo Fighters live show! Crowd favourites like This Is A Call, Stacked Actors, Learn To Fly, Everlong, The Pretender, All My Life, Best Of You, Rope, etc, etc are mainstays of the Four Fighters setlist.

On occasion Four Fighters are even known to break out the acoustic guitars too and recreate the Foo Fighters live acoustic shows...

Gaz Brookfield + Joshua Caole + Benji Clements

Songs Of Praise Presents:

GAZ BROOKFIELD
Gaz Brookfield is a solo acoustic artist based in Bristol.
Since embarking on his solo career in 2006 he has been fortunate enough to have played with artists such as Newton Faulkner, Frank Turner, Nik Kershaw, Nigel Clark (Dodgy), Mark Morris (Bluetones),Pete Doherty, Ben Marwood, Jim Lockey, Jake Morley, Dave McPherson (InMe) and many more.
His songs are instantly accessible, everyman tales of life, love and everything else in between. Played in a folk-ish style with occaisional use of the guitar as a percussive tool, as well as some two handed venturing around the fretboard, Gaz's simple yet poignant songwriting captures the imagination of the listener.

JOSHUA CAOLE
'Slow Hearts' the debut EP by Joshua Caole was released in December 2010, he spent most of the following year touring with some ace people such as The Smoke Fairies and Slaid Cleaves in support of it. In January 2012 Joshua recorded his debut album 'Moon Palace' which is due for release on the 16th of April 2012 on Bullo Pill Recordings. He will be touring with Christiaan Webb around this time as well as many other shows of his own.

BENJI CLEMENTS
Benji is a 22 year old up and coming singer song/writer from calne in wiltshire, who has been making a good impact on the local scene and hopes to begin to make more of an impact on the bristol and london scene. Over the summer, he has played some really good festivals and events, finding himself on the same line-up as wretch 32, twist and pulse, basshunter and many more really great acts. 2013 could be his year so keep an eye out for this guy!

Whole Lotta DC

AC/DCs music might sound easy to play, but its delivered in a tempo and rhythm that only few can master. Some people call this the vibe which cant be analysed in music theory. Some bands have it and some dont, Whole Lotta DC simply have it. Thats why they are so much in demand. - Keith Thompson (Revolver)

Emily Sykes + Anna Neale + Nick Tann

Songs Of Praise Presents:

EMILY SYKES
A buzz went around the Beehive, one of Matilda couldnt make it and they werent coming. Well, yes and no. Just as we got this piece of sad news, Emily Sykes walked in with guitar. She is the drummer in Matilda. Amy and Polly came in without any instruments. So it was Rebecca (singer and keyboard player), who was missing. Emily and the others found stools. Phil Hamer (with electric bass guitar) sat as far back in the corner of the room as possible with his head down, he had joined an all girl band. Except that now the line up was Emily Sykes and Friends, a new and exciting line-up in which Emily is the lead singer. Someone shouted out whats the name of the band? Emily replied with Matilda mark II. Phil did his best to hide. Emily has such a wonderful voice for folk and for harmonizing with the others, and did this whilst playing rhythm. Phil was playing the softest bass possible. There were songs accompanied only by clapping and seated stomping. This was all so harmonious and beautiful. As with Matilda, the humorous banter and laughter, was joyous.

ANNA NEALE
Winner of 2009's Guildford Music Award for Best Female Solo Artist, Anna Neale started her professional life touring as a vocalist with Dublin soul band, the stars from 'The Commitments'. Since then she has become a performer and songwriter in her own right, playing to an increasing number of fans through her live, TV and Radio performances. Anna has played around the world, across US, Canada, Europe and Asia, both as a solo artist and as a member of various bands. She has also supported many well known artists including Dave McPherson (InMe) and Edwin Starr.

NICK TANN
The most obvious selling points of his music are a wonderfully expressive and technically wide vocal range and the ability to wring a playing style out of his twelve string guitar that sits somewhere beyond the merely rhythmic and fleshed out with delicate intricacies and atmospheric pauses that he works into the music. The devil, as they say, is in the detail and it is Nicks understanding of this that raises his music above the competition GreenMan Music

Thin Lizzy Experience + Port Erin

THIN LIZZY EXPERIENCE
With their mantra of bringing back the raw essence, power and energy of Lizzys live performances along with Simons spitting image of Phil, it wasnt long before The Thin Lizzy Experience got heads turning and tongues wagging. The last year especially has seen the bands audience increase dramatically, helped along nicely by the renewed interest in the reformed Thin Lizzy.

With a sets that can last up to two and a half hours straight through, not only does this band deliver a great show with all the lights and pyrotechnics, but amazing value for money! This band has brought grown men in their fifties to tears with their true to life rendition of the classic song Still In Love With You, as well as many of their other hits like The Boys Are Back In Town, Emerald, Jailbreak, Dancing In The Moonllight to name a few.

See these boys live and youll not walk away thinking youd just seen a tribute band youll be wondering whether you were seeing things - if Phil Lynott had come back to life and whether you had just seen the real Thin Lizzy

Support From
PORT ERIN (Glastonbury Warm Up Show)
" Port Erin are a perfectly weighted three-piece dispensing precision rock full of space and dynamics with liquid, ringing guitar, fat authoritative bass a superb drummer delivering delicious hi-hat. " Venue Mag

DEER CHICAGO
Deer Chicago combine post-rock shimmering guitars with blustery vocals and an turbulent but uplifting rhythm section. They explore the transition between soft and loud, focusing on tension created with build-ups and peaks of melodic plateau.

SKYBURNSRED
From the deepest depths of the Swindon music scene surfaces SkyBurnsRed, an eclectic rock band with a orchestral twist. Although guitar and violin would rarely associate under normal circumstances, the haunting tones of the classical instrument become electrified and entangled in the heavy rock foundations creating the bands striking sound.
