Stop Stop

Hard rock / Glam / Metal band

By the hands of Jacob A.M, founder of the band, comes this project:

The story of Jacob A.M. (Bass and singer) has been a wild one; he had to move from everywhere he stayed due to his crazy passion chasing his dreams ( Born in Menorca moved to Barcelona in 1998, from Barcelona to Milan-Italy in 2002, back to Barcelona in 2003, from Barcelona to Los Angeles C.A. U.S.A. in 2006, and definitive return to Barcelona in 2007 ), playing in the street for a few coins in Barcelona (Spain) and Milan (Italy), or living in a van in Sunset Boulevard in L.A. (U.S.A.) behind the Whiskey a Go Go are just a few of the many anecdotes that he has lived to find the right people for this band.
There have been many people who got in and out of the group leaving Jacob alone in his adventure, but in 2009 he finally found the right members for Hard Rock indeed:

Vega, a guitarist tired of boring bands and thirsty of rock n roll, decides to join StOp,sToP! to do what he always wanted to do: sex, rock and more sex! Hes been playing in the shadows for a long time but finally he shows up with this blend of A.O.R. and sleazy kind of playing. Hes not pretending to be a guitar hero but hes gonna kick your ass before you realize.
Danny Stix (drums). From Bulgaria Sofia he moved to Barcelona, soon he became in a StOp,sToP! fan, he used to follow the band wherever they went, once StOp,sToP! needed a new drummer they did loads of auditions but when they found that skinny boy with that massive hair and drumming loud like a badass motherfucker they didnt think about it twice, they gave him the job.

And Mak G.G., was guitarist of the band Wet Jack that joined the band as well, but after the Unlimited recording (StOp,sToP! First album 2010) he left the band, then StOp,sToP! became in a trio.
In the winter of 2010 they released their debut album Unlimited which got loads of good reviews by the Spanish rock magazines and radio stations.

The things were quite good in Barcelona, they had a big response in all that sold out gigs in the local scene venue Mephist , but when they toured around Spain they found out that they would never get enough support there, though they had been very acclaimed by the rock crowd and magazines, promoters and managers didnt really care of them. Soon they realized about that. Therefore, in the end of October 2011 they left everything behind, bought a van, booked some gigs in U.K. and just moved there.
They had no place to stay in U.K. but they didnt mind about that and went on living in a van like gypsies and rocking as hell.
The surprise is that the response in the first U.K. tour was absolutely more than they had ever expected, the people really loved them. They decided to stay in U.K. and they kept on playing and touring for 7th months.
They got back to Barcelona in July 2012 to record their second album called Join the party!
April 2013 theyre back in the U.K. again touring and rocking the house everywhere they go! Dont miss it!

StOp,sToP! you might like them or you might not, but what you cant say is that these three elements dont play real hard-rock.
Madness and perversion are their favourite weapons! Try it! You wont be left indifferent.

Damh The Bard

Damh the Bard is a modern-day Bard whose spirituality and love of folk tradition is expressed through his music, storytelling and poetry. Drawing on the Bardic tradition, his performances are both entertaining and educational, speaking directly to the heart, and never without a good splash of humour.

With seven outstanding albums, and singing and speaking engagements all over the world, Damh has become one of the most popular contemporary pagan musicians a musical storyteller who works within the world of myth: where the Faerie really do dance on Midsummers Eve, where the trees talk, and the Hollow Hills take you into the realms of Annwn, where the Goddess rides her horse, guiding you to magic, and the Horned God of old calls to you from the shadows of the Greenwood.

Along with his musical concerts, Damh has also given talks, run workshops and participated in panel discussions at conferences and camps in the UK, Europe, Australia, Canada and the USA, with his favourite topics including Druidry, Awen and the creative quest, magick, treelore, and Arthurian lore.

Sheer Music Present... PROFESSOR ELEMENTAL w/ The Reel Cheesemakers

There was once a fierce rivalry between CHAP HOPs two greatest heroes.

Both hailing from Brighton, we had in one corner the rapping dandy, Banjolele guru and The Chap cover star, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer. In the other corner, our intrepid time travelling, rapping explorer, complete with Ape sidekick, and a range of luxury comics, PROFESSOR ELEMENTAL

This feuding eventually came to a head after many years of in song dissing, including such classics as Fighting Trousers, when a Chap Off was had between the two. Both sets of fans argue to this day (Youtube comments are a gold mine) as to the winner, but they have since made up and regularly interview and appear together.

Swindon has seen the talents of Jim Collapsed Lung / Eat My Goal aka Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer before, when he appeared for Sheer Music back in 2012, so we are absolutely DELIGHTED to finally bring the Prof to town, and complete the Chap Hop job.

Support comes from the equally loved and entertaining THE REEL CHEESEMAKERS

For fans of Hip Hop, Rap, comedy, Victorian Farmers and Steam Punk Time Travellers. Do Dress Up.

Doors 9pm.

EMPIRE + IN DYNAMICS + ALL EARS AVOW

It was back in May 2013 that Empire last played for us, the second time they had graced the stage at The Vic for SoP. That was a hell of a show, not the largest crowd but Empire proved their pedigree by putting on a performance worthy of a far bigger venue. Vocalist Joe chose to perform a part of the set from the top of the venue bar if we remember rightly.

Forming in in early 2012 Empire put out a low key self released EP, Birth soon after to give early and eager fans a taste of things to come. Determined to raise the bar, Empire recorded their debut Mini Album Where the World Begins in 2013 with Chris Coulter (Arcane Roots, Trails, A Plastic Rose) and released to critical acclaim in October 2013. This album captures the sound of a band finding their collective voices, working together to create a strikingly anthemic sound. Vitriolic and exciting in equal measure, the hooks stick like glue.

Following the arrival of the mini album Where the World Begins, Empire have released two singles, Black Hearts and Future, Past and Present. The latter resulting in being in the Scuzz most wanted chart, whilst receiving extensive airplay on radio, including being Band of the week on TeamRock Radio.

The best new voice in Rock – Kerrang!
Forget Genres: Empire are weird enough to appeal to everyone - Metal Hammer
Its easy to see why this lot is causing such a buzz - Big Cheese
Youll be hard pressed to find a better vocal performance on record this year - Rock Sound
Sharp riffs, anthemic fist raisers, and of course, the virtuosic vocals - Afro Punk

Since then, Empire have moved from strength to strength, releasing single Patchwork and Bone along with B-Side Truth In Your Eyes both premiered exclusively to Kerrang Magazine, among other radio and TV outlets. This single was the catalyst for their biggest headline tour to date in February 2015 covering 18 venues across the whole of the UK. The festivals continued to roll in towards the summer with the mainstage at Takedown Festival, along with a packed out 3rd Stage at Download Festival in June 2015.

2016 has been as busy for the band, with one national tour already under their belts, a new EP Simple Truths being released and a host of festivals to look forward to through the summer.

IN DYNAMICS
https://www.facebook.com/indynamics/

Sussex trio In Dynamics spent 2015 going from strength to strength. Alongside front man Beau Boulden, brothers Jack and Will Wrench have spent the past few years honing their sound on their first two EPs; the critically acclaimed Circle and Questions.

Quickly gathering support from Kerrang! Magazine, Rock Sound, Big Cheese Magazine, Scuzz TV, MUZU, VidZone, BBC Radio 1, Kerrang! Radio, Amazing Radio and many more, they deal in weighty alt-rock thats both wise and brimming with empathy.

Possessing a subtle talent for song writing and musical craftsmanship that cuts right to the core of the human condition, they still manage to hit home in a big way with carefully composed melodies and powerful hooks enshrined in technical guitar work and mosh-pit worthy riffs.

After tour dates and shows alongside the likes of The Subways, Arcane Roots, Feed The Rhino, The Dear Hunter, and Blitz Kids, they rounded off 2015 with the release of their new single We Are Liars, and a UK Winter Tour with Arcane Roots.

Coming into the New Year with fierce momentum and a whole heap of potential, they are now setting their sights on the release of their debut album in 2016.

In Dynamics are excellent
-Kerrang [KKKK]

Total groove to the riffs, and some serious vocal acrobatics!
- Ally McCrae, BBC Radio One

How they remain unsigned is a mystery, as this is electrifying
- Rock Sound

Full of promise and maturity with a philosophical side to their songwriting
– Big Cheese Magazine

One of the biggest choruses Ive heard in a long time. This band know exactly what theyre doing.
- Alex Baker, Kerrang! Radio

Theres really no excuse for you not to check In Dynamics out
- Hit The Floor Magazine

ALL EARS AVOW
