Fat White Family + Deadcuts + The Harlers +

Fat White Family -

A lot has been said about a lack of authenticity in rock n roll but with Fat White Family its simply not an issue. They live to play, and their live shows are legendary. Their on stage antics (stripping off, rubbing butter on themselves) could sound gimmicky if they werent so deadly serious.
Letting debut album Champagne Holocaust loose on the world in 2014, they picked up fans in NME, BBC 6 Music, VICE, The Guardian… the list goes on and on. Theres a global appetite for the Fat Whites nihilistic, reverb drenched, guttural delivery and smirking self knowledge.

Deadcuts -

With Senseless Things frontman Mark Keds, ex Gorillaz stickman Cass Browne and the gutair master Jerome Alexandre in the line up Deadcuts are going from strength to strength,. Mixing the cerebral bile of Magazine, the lyrical suss of Wire, P.I.L.s powerhouse of sonic-artillery, the otherworldly damaged glamour of The Only Ones, The Banshees intoxicating tribal charms, the Bunnymens ethereal invocations and Queens of The Stone Ages melodic brutality – Deadcuts offer up their own caustic brew, a razors glint through the darkest of nights...

Dead Frequency + Sea Mammal + TBC

DEAD FREQUENCY

Dead Frequency are a high energy Glam Punk band based in the Midlands UK. Imagine the showmanship of Van Halen mixed with the sound of Green Day.

After forming in 2013 the guys hit the studio to record and successfully release the Debut E.P Desire For Fire to a great response. They spent most of 2014 on the road in promotion of the E.P playing various festivals and cities throughout the UK. November 2014 saw them hand selected to be main tour support for Ska Punk Legends [Spunge] on thier highly anticipated 20th Anniversary tour playing to a full house every night. They had also been chosen to support the likes of: Andrew W.K., Me First And The Gimme Gimmes, U.K Subs, Evil Scarecrow and Old Man Markley by the end of the year due to the nature of the intense live show they have.

2015 saw a change of guitarist for the guys but now with a fresh new dynamic in the band they are spending the rest of 2015 back on the road and recording the difficult second E.P.

Come see it for yourself.

Moving between heavy, head-banging tunes and poppier, jump-around numbers, their energy soon lit up the room and filled the mosh pit. Its rare to see such a response to a support band, so Dead Frequency were clearly pushing the right buttons.

Pete Williams, Gigjunkies.com

SEA MAMMAL

Adam Crosland, Henry Tilley, Matthew Sirrelle.

Noisy, swirling, dissonant rock 3-piece from Wiltshire with a hint of mathy thrash.

Polar Front + Black Sheep Apprentice + George Wilding + Plummie Racket (DJ Set)

POLAR FRONT

Polar Front are an alternative three piece, combining electronic and raw instrumentation to create atmospheric melodies, a hard-hitting rhythm section and soulful vocals. Inspired by the likes of, Jack Garratt, The Macabees, Daughter and PVRIS, Polar Front take contrasting genres to develop their own unique and modern sound.

With their music feauturing on Vicky Pattinsons Honeyz televsion advert, and working closely with Roli, Polar Front have already booked some impressive jobs in their first year as a band.

BLACK SHEEP APPRENTICE

Black Sheep Apprentice formed in 2009 with a view to playing A darker genre of country music that catered for a more adult audience, Founder members were Skiddy, Dave Franklin, Paj, Nick Osman and Josh Wetherit.
The band has gigged extensively and received a warm reception that has bolstered the bands energy and encouragingly is still gaining momentum two years on.
Nick and Josh have parted company with the band but are on friendly terms and both appear on the recordings that will make up the bands (as yet untitled) debut album. This has been recorded at the Cellar studio with producer Sam Bates.
Friend and Drummer Rich Millin has been filling in for the bands live set and also appears on the album along with Pete Cousins, Sam Bates.
A permanent Drummer is being scouted and a name is in the frame pending audition which the band are excited about as they are anxious to write new material and gig as much as possible.
Local radio airplay and energetic performances at the Swindon Shuffle 2010, 2011 event has seen the bands profile rise considerably.
Please check out our reviews on our discussion page and our video link.
Skiddy has also been plugging away in a solo capacity whilst the band continue to search for a suitable full time Drummer, helping to keep the bands profile at the forefront of peoples minds.
We are also pleased to say that the multi talented Chris Heeks has also recently joined the band. Chris is a superb Guitarist, singer, keyboard player and saxophonist and is a very well respected Gentleman on the music scene in the South West area.

GEORGE WILDING

George Wilding is an English singer songwriter. Born in 1996, he now lives in Avebury, Wiltshire.

He taught himself to play the guitar after his younger brother started having lessons, and was writing his own songs by the age of twelve. He had shown no particular interest in music in his formative years other than a tendency to hum words rather than speak them.

Shying away from talent shows, he preferred instead to gain experience performing at local open mic slots where he has developed a loyal following. He describes his songs as abstract stories.

He caught the eye of local musician Nick Harper who asked him to perform at his charity gig Avebury Rocks in 2011 for the Love, Hope and Strength Foundation. Along with Nick, he is the only performer to have played each year since, supporting acts such as Newton Falkner and The Levellers.

This brought him to the attention of musician and songwriter Gary Saunders, who had moved from London to Wiltshire , and had built a reputation for performing, production and arranging. Gary quickly saw Georges potential and worked with him over a long period of time to develop his songs and musical ideas. For this EP they enlisted the help of Stu Rowe at his Lighterthief Studios in Swindon.

Gary and Stu chose a number of musicians they had worked with over the last couple of decades to help bring Georges songs to life. Andy Phillips (a long time collaborator of Garys) was brought in to play drums ,and Stus brothers Pete, (who owns The Ladder Factory Studio in Shrivenham ) recorded the drums through a vintage Trident desk, and Mikey (who took time out from touring with Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds) played keyboards on the tracks.

All these veteran musicians were blown away by the strength of Georges material and it is very rare to find the kind of songwriting craft George possesses at such an early age.
