The Harlers + The Sulks + Shore +

THE HARLERS

The Harlers are an Alternative Rock duo from Swindon, UK. Formed at the beginning 2015, Chris Pritchard (Guitar/Vocals) & Jamie Warren (Drums) together combine growling Blues Rock guitar melodies, strongly influenced by the likes of The Black Keys, Gary Clark Jr and Rival Sons, with foot-stomping drum grooves and powerful, soulful vocals, to create a modern Garage Rock sound.

Formerly a Guitar n Drums Duo, now with the introduction of
a new Swanky Bassist, The Harlers continue to strengthen their sound.

Slow and hypnotic, raw and righteous, this is the beating heart of blues rocked up, repackaged and Anglicised and the result is glorious. The Swindonian

THE SULKS

The Sulks are a new, four piece guitar band formed in 2016 from the Swindon suburbs. Fusing dramatic harmonised vocal layers with conscious lyrics and a musicality which proceeds the young bands years, their explosive live performances have already earned a lot of attention on the local scene. Their eclectic influences shine through in their sound, taking influence from all corners of all genres, with the drama of Alt J and Arcade Fire and pop sensibility of Foals and The Beatles.

SHORE

After a sensational show opening the Swindon Shuffle 2017 at The Castle, Shore have blown the town apart and gained huge popularity like no other has down before.

Already with an EP to hand, these boys are out promoting their material with force.

Harry Leigh - Vocals & Guitar
Nick Tucker - Backing Vocals & Lead Guitar
Ben Tinson - Backing Vocals, Bass & Synth
Matt Bateman - Drums

Deborah Bonham + Special guests Jo Burt

Over the course of a career that spans over three decades, Deborah Bonham has established herself as one of the finest blues-rock vocalists the UK has produced.

A string of critically-acclaimed album releases, captivating concert performances and prestigious festival appearances has kept her at the very forefront of the international music scene.

Born in Worcestershire, the younger sister of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham and photographer/author Michael Bonham, Deborah experienced a powerful introduction to the music business (Deborah was just five when John joined Led Zeppelin), sparking in her an overwhelming desire to write and perform. While living at the Bonham family home The Old Hyde, Deborah together with Johns son Jason (later to drum for Led Zeppelin, Foreigner, UFO, Black Country Communion, amongst numerous others) began writing and recording their own songs.

At the age of seventeen Deborah recorded her first demos at Robert Plants house. Sending out the songs anonymously she soon landed her first record deal with major label Carrere Records, for whom she recorded her critically and commercially acclaimed 1985 debut album For You and the Moon (accolades for this European best seller included Top 5 NME chart placing; BBC Radio 1 Simon Bates Record of the Week, and Record of the Year, Musik Mart, Germany).

A period of recording for the Japanese SAM Corporation label followed, prior to English label RPM releasing the single Perfect World in 1995.

In 1996 Deborah formed a new band together with guitarist Peter Bullick, kick-starting a busy period of touring, writing and recording that has continued unabated to this day.

Deborahs long awaited second album The Old Hyde was released in 2004 and was produced by Mo Foster (Jeff Beck, Van Morrison, Phil Collins). Featuring Jason Bonham on drums as well as guest appearances from Mick Fleetwood (drums, Fleetwood Mac) Robbie McIntosh (guitar, The Pretenders), Robbie Blunt and Doug Boyle (both guitarists from Robert Plants band), the album received mass critical acclaim with Classic Rock leading the compliments: the album has balls...a classy set of bluesy hard rock. All Music Guide proclaimed the album one of the best blues-rock albums of the early 21st century. The release was backed with a tour as special guests of Jools Holland for arena/stadium dates, as well as further headline shows.

Third album Duchess (2008) followed, recorded with bassist Ian Rowley, keyboardist Gerard Louis, guitarist Peter Bullick and Jerry Shirley of Humble Pie on drums. The album featured a moving duet with Paul Rodgers on Hold On, with appearances from Jason Bonham (drums), Robbie Blunt (guitar) and Dick Parry (sax, Pink Floyd). Reviews of Duchess were glowing: a blues mama par excellence (Blues Matters), one of the New Women of Blues (Blues Revue, USA) and a celebration of soul, strength and family (Modern Guitars).

2013 saw the release of a further album Spirit, which like its predecessor was produced by Glenn Skinner (Deborah Harry/Killing Joke) and featured drummer Marco Giovino (Robert Plants Band of Joy, John Cale, Norah Jones) and guest appearances from pedal steel legend B.J.Cole and none other than Robert Plant on harmonica. Once again the album showcased Deborahs soulful singing and her effortless, sensitive approach to a gamut of styles from blues and soul to country and rock. The first single from the album, Take Me Down received great reviews both in the UK and US, with the track spending four weeks at Number One on the Reverbnation Rock Chart.

A blistering live set adds to the magic of Deborah Bonham and her band is a truly first division outfit with a combined CV that reads like a veritable whos who of British rock – Peter Bullick (guitar - Paul Rodgers), Rich Newman (drums – Rory Gallagher, Paul Rodgers, Steve Marriot), Jo Burt (bass – Tom Robinson, Freddie Mercury, Black Sabbath) and Gerard Louis (keyboards – Paul Rodgers).

A regular festival favourite, Deborah has performed at many of the UKs most prestigious festivals – Glastonbury, Canterbury, Bulldog Bash, Donington, Cambridge, Cropredy, Chiddfest, Weyfest, Giants of Rock, The Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival and Nantwich Jazz Festival to name just a few. European festivals have included Waterfront (Malta), Echoes of the Sun (Belgium), Caslano Blues Festival (Switzerland), Harley Davidson festivals (Austria, France and Portugal) and Ripfest (Czech Republic). Deborah has also maintained a busy diary of headline appearances throughout the UK and Europe.

Deborah has performed on-stage duets with legendary vocalists Paul Rodgers (Bad Company/Free) and Dan McCafferty (Nazareth) and has shared the stage with such luminaries as Paul Rodgers, Jools Holland, Fairport Convention, Ann Peebles, Paul Weller, Bad Company, Foreigner, Nazareth, Humble Pie, Lonnie Donegan, Van Halen, Alannah Myles, Peter Frampton, and Donovan.

Recent highlights include appearances with Paul Rodgers at Londons prestigious Royal Albert Hall and Hammersmith Apollo - Deborahs mesmerizing performance at the Royal Albert Hall receiving a standing ovation at the sell-out concert. In 2016, Robert Plant stepped on stage unannounced to a delirious crowd at Deborahs Hereford show to perform Led Zeppelins When the Levee Breaks and the Johnny Kidd & The Pirates classic Shakin All Over with Deborah and her band, delighting the crowd with their obvious shared, magical chemistry. After a rapturous opening set for Foreigner at their sold-out 2016 London Palladium show, Deborah was invited back on stage for the encore to duet on I Want to Know What Love Is.

2017 promises to be an exciting year for Deborahs fan-base on both the stage and release front. A new album Looking Back at the Moon, a collection of recordings from 1985-1991 sessions including the best of For You and the Moon together with a selection of previously unreleased tracks, is released to coincide with Deborahs touring for 2017. Enhanced versions of Deborahs back catalogue albums will also be released.

Anti-Nowhere League + Borrowed Time + The Dirty Outlaws

THE ANTI-NOWHERE LEAGUE

The Anti Nowhere League set out on the road in 1980 to prove they could be the worst band on Gods earth loud, violent, obnoxious yobbos with one mission... to get banned from every TV show, radio station and newspapers as possible just for a laugh......they were hated by the general public as well as real musicians who thought they were a disgrace to the music business(and of course the fact they were pulling more people in their live shows than they were).....with numerous encounters with the authorities they have continued to play and release new material away from the public eye....In this day and age it does not seem quite as big a deal as it was back then when they stood alone now a few of the real bands have taken up the flag to be original with attitude...long may independent bands continue keeping the music live and real.....long live the League

BORROWED TIME

Formed in 2013 Borrowed Time are relatively new on the scene but have years of previous band experience behind them. Check out the band profile app. on here and watch the latest videos. To listen to the debut album, Pushed to the Brink free visit borrowedtime1.bandcamp.com
2014 was a good year for the band with the release of the album and plenty of support slots with numerous name punk bands and culminating with a great live appearance at Rebellion Festival in Blackpool.
Plenty of gigs booked already for 2015 with another slot at Rebellion confirmed so all is looking good for the Borrowed Time Boys this year as well.

Jilted Generation

Jilted Generation - The Worlds Only full live tribute band to the Prodigy have been tearing it up around the UK and parts of Europe.

The bands debut year saw them play mainly in the local venues close to where they are based; the West Midlands and then eventually they began branching out to larger venues around the Birmingham and Staffordshire area.

The band began receiving major offers such as playing The Stamford Riverside Festival accompanied by former Prodigy guitarist Gizz Butt, of whom likened the experience as having a flashback. Gizz also made another appearance with the band at a show in Peterborough. Later in the year, the band also got the fantastic opportunity to play in Malta, alongside a TV appearance in the country. Regular bookings in new venues up and down the country appeared for the Jilted Generation and they took full advantage; bringing their chaotic show to new crowds. Following another Malta appearance, the band reached new heights by playing the Glastonbudget Tribute Band Festival in front of over a thousand people.

Following a very successful couple of years filled with new opportunities, one of the biggest came in the form of getting booked overseas once more, this time in Holland. Another Glastonbudget Festival appearance followed thereafter and also playing the dance arenas in such events as Fantazia & Raindance. This gave the band a chance to play Prodigy sets consisting of material from 1991-1995, a much loved period for the fans and band alike.

As the world saw the launch of the 5th Prodigy studio album; Invaders Must Die. This proved an exciting time for the Jilted Generation. This helped breathe new life into the sets and proved to be an experimental time for the band as they got a first hand chance to experience how the new tracks slotted into their established set alongside the mainstay live songs such as Out of Space, Voodoo People, Breathe, Firestarter and Smack My Bitch Up. Once again the band got booked in Europe, this time Belgium came calling, as did Holland. More rave events followed as did various venues around the country mixed in with a number of University shows, one of which took place at Staffordshire Uni. The band shared the same stage as Plan B amongst other established chart acts. Couple this with two consecutive headline slots at the tribute band festival Tribfest, the band have had a very successful time.

The band still play in an eclectic mix of venues; ranging from the small local shows to huge festival crowds around Great Britain and Europe. No matter what size the venue or crowd, the energy and passion stays the same. The band played to their biggest ever crowd of over 7,000 hardcore live music lovers at Glastonbudget. A very special show indeed.

The Scruff + The Sulks + Kevin and The Vandals

ASYLUM SESSIONS PRESENTS

The Scruff are a band back in the saddle after a somewhat turbulent year that has seen some major changes, both in life and as a band. The Bedford natives have seen a member emigrate, a rebuilding process and a new outlook on their sound fuelled by the passing of a beautiful soul that inspired their latest single Her.

The single is the bands most personal work to date, not only an ode to those who never had the time to say goodbye, but also to all the important women who help nurture and shape our lives. While previous release Leave it Alone captured the boisterous guitar-fronted alt-pop that their live shows deliver, bandmates Adam, Jack, Omar and Sam, have taken on a far more ambitious project with this next single, an anthemic, uplifting, stadium rousing track that will resonate with anyone who loves and has lost.

Since the band drafted in new lead guitarist Jack, The Scruff have been writing and crafting their sound and their skills, with a brand new set, and a whole heap of new tracks recorded, ready to unleash on an unsuspecting public. Their previous release saw buzzy reaction from online blogs and their vivacious and energetic live shows have led them to a string of headline shows as well as landing supports from the likes of Pete Doherty, DMAs and Gaz Coombes among many others.

This feels like the rebirth of a band ready to break, an introduction to four guys ambitious and willing enough to back up the size of their tunes. Come along for the ride and go and tell someone you love them.
